I have a photo taken by T Price and Son which equates to 1892 from the information provided above.
The number on the photo is 20988.
Is there any way of tracking who this may be a photo of.

I found your fantastic site while trying to track downsome information on T Price.

I have a number of old photo’s and can’t figure out the sitters.

Do you know if there is an archive anywhere for T Price, of the names for each negative number?

If you are interested I have a T Price photograph dated (I believe) 1869 to 1872 but probably 1872 (when the subject married) which has a different back design to the ones you feature - drop me an email if you’d like a copy.

Hi,
Came upon your website via Google, many thanks for setting this up. I have a photograph of my Great Grandmother Clara Blanche Seeney, aged about 3/4 years old taken around 1874 by J. Daly of 5 La Motte St Jersey.
Most interestingly I discovered that on your list of photographers, you have listed my Great Grandmother’s Father who was Charles Seeney, at 26 Queen Street 1869 - 1873, please could you advise where you gained this information, as I have Charles Seeney - Hairdresser of 26 Queen Street on the 1871 Census returns and also on a recent visit to St Helier, I also found his details listed in the Business almanacs available in St Helier, once again as a Hairdresser.
I would be extremely grateful for any infomation you can give me on this, could it be that Charles Seeney was also a Photographer as well as a Hairdresser?

I have a photo of a woman that maybe my grandfathers mother, married name Collis or maiden name possibly Terrry(Thierry). Scroll on back is unlike any on web site and has T.Price Photo 2 Peter St. Jersey at bottom.

I have been trying to research my family in Jersey and have a of photograph of my grandfather that was taken at the studio of T Price & Son in the early 20thC. I was so pleased to come across your web site when I entered the photographers name on google , I have the negative number and a date on the back of the photograph I also have another photograph with the negative number but not sure who the person is, it might be my grandfather at an earlier age.
I was wondering if there are any records that would give information, eg. addresses of the sitters, as it would enable me to confirm that I am on the right track.

I was very interested to find your site. I have quite a few photos taken by T Price (and Vandycke) in the 19th C in Jersey.They were left to me by my father George Amy born in Rozel Jersey in 1914. We have very little idea of who they are of but they do have the neg numbers on the back.

Are there any records left by the company which will tie up the negative number with the name of the person photograhed? That would be wonderful and would enable us to see who all these people really are!
