Hi - my ancestor James Daly was a photographer living in the Isle of Jersey in St. Heliene in 1857 at 37 years old with his wife Mary. I was researching photos that may have been taken by him around that time and found this amazing site. I now want to travel to Jersey and I’m from New Jersey in America. Ironic. If you happen to see anything by James Daly, please let me know. firstname.lastname@example.org
I have found in my loft, what looks to me like a printers template of a Map of Jersey. On the bottom it says Printed forJohn Newton at the 3 pigeons temple gate fleet street etc… is this of any interest?
Hi, my ancestor is Francois DeLaMare and his wife, Jeanne Esther Ahier who lived at 50 Columberie from about 1841 to 1871. I have a photograph of him as well as one of her. I have no idea who took the photo.
